Over my weekend at home, I had a mini baking spree. First up was Mama Pea's Very Cherry Berry Snack Cake recipe to use up some sour blueberries we had in the fridge. (So sad the summer fruit season is fading.) The result was a "berry" delicious cake! I loved that the recipe did not call for any oils or butters. It was not too sweet either--the perfect blend of fruit/cake.
